Gay Barcelona

Eixample’s population is noticeably queer and even more noticeably cool - there’s nowhere like it for world-class people watching. Eixample is also jam-packed with examples of Spain’s 20th century Modernism, making it a popular choice for architecture buffs. 

Just 40 minutes from Barcelona by train, Sitges is often considered to be Europe's gayest town. Sitges is very much geared towards gay tourism, and you’ll find a bounty of gay clubs, bars and adults-only hotels. Combining Barcelona and Sitges is one of the most popular twin-center itineraries for gay travelers, and offers the perfect blend of high-brow cultural stimulation and shameless gay fun.
