Gay Houston

Houston is a fun city to explore–it's big, bold, and totally Texan but with its own unique vibe! This sprawling metropolis has something for everyone: mouth-watering food trucks and restaurants serving everything from authentic Tex-Mex to amazing Vietnamese cuisine, cool museums where you can spend hours, and of course, Space Center Houston.

What might surprise you is how LGBTQ+ friendly Houston actually is! The Montrose neighborhood is basically the gay hub with gay bars, shops, and restaurants where everyone feels welcome. The Pride festival here is a total blast, and the city's been pretty progressive–they even had an openly lesbian mayor for six years!
