The 38th BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival, the UK’s largest queer film event, is scheduled from 13 to 24 March 2024. It will be held at BFI Southbank and showcase contemporary LGBTQIA+ cinema globally, alongside a selection of events and archive titles. The festival also marks the 10th year of #FiveFilmsForFreedom, a partnership with the British Council, presenting five films for free worldwide to promote solidarity with LGBTQIA+ communities in countries where freedom and equal rights are limited.
