Oakland Pride, established in 2010, celebrates the LGBTQ+ communities in the East Bay and beyond. The organization is committed to promoting equality, social justice, and civic involvement through various events leading up to Oakland Pride Weekend, which features a festival and parade. They aim to create equitable platforms and safe spaces, supporting BIPOC businesses and nonprofits. Oakland Pride is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to educating the Bay Area.

Oakland Pride hosts various events leading up to and during Oakland Pride Weekend. Highlights include the Annual Bar Crawl and the Pride Parade and Festival. The parade marches along Broadway, followed by the festival from noon to 6:00 PM. Festival tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, $10 for children aged 12-18, and free for children under 12.
