What is Winter Party Festival?

Winter Party Festival is an annual, multi-day celebration of music, dance, and community, produced by the National LGBTQ Task Force to raise funds for the LGBTQ+ movement. The festival began in 1994 as a single dance party on the beach and has grown into one of the largest LGBTQ+ festivals in the world, drawing thousands of visitors to Miami Beach each year.

Winter Party represents freedom, visibility, and purpose. It's a place where the LGBTQ+ community can come together, be fully themselves, and feel connected in a safe, inclusive environment.

What to expect in 2027

Winter Party 2027 brings a full run of events, including

• The Beach Party — The festival's centerpiece, held on the sand in South Beach.
• Mega Night Events — Evenings with internationally booked DJs.
• Sunset & Poolside Parties — Daytime events with cocktails, music, and ocean views.
• Wellness & Culture Programming — Yoga, panel discussions, art installations, and social mixers.
• After-Hours & Closing Celebrations — Late-night events running into the early morning.

Our purpose: fundraising that matters

Winter Party isn't just a celebration. It's also a central fundraising engine for LGBTQ+ advocacy. Produced by the National LGBTQ Task Force, the festival supports both national social justice work and local organizations in South Florida.

Since 2005, Winter Party, together with the Task Force Gala, has put over $4 million back into the community through the LGBTQ+ Equity Fund, a partnership with The Miami Foundation and Our Fund Foundation. More than 100 organizations have received funding, supporting health and housing services, youth outreach, and cultural initiatives.
