    Kitty Su is an upmarket gay bar and club. It's open even days a week and it's home to many drag performers from New Delhi's burgeoning drag scene. It hosts popular gay nights, such as Inclusive Tuesdays, and some ladies' nights, such as Cotton Candy.

    It's a bouji setting - this is Lalit, after all. Here you can enjoy India's emerging gay scene in one of its best homegrown hotels. Homosexuality was decriminalised in 2018. In the process, the gay citizens of the world's largest democracy came in from the cold. Expect tench music, pop hits by both Indian and Western artists.

    Massively overcharging

    I visited on Saturday 9 November 2029. I was asked for 3000 rupees entrance! When I questioned this, they backed down and said I could enter free and that beer would cost 600 rupees. I went to the bar and asked for a beer. The batman held up a small bottle of beer. I asked how much/ he said 1000 rupees!! I said I wanted one for 600 and he produced another brand. I then went and complained to the duty manager. She arranged for me to have a free beer! The place was about a quarter full and at least 75% of the (local) people (perhaps very wisely) did not have any sort of drink! Three Westerners present as far as I could see. Avoid this place at all costs! It’s simply not worth it, on any level.
