29 Bloom St, Manchester, United Kingdom, M1 3JE

The Goose is a friendly gay pub on Bloom Street, right in the heart of Manchester’s Gay Village. It had a major refurbishment in 2024, but the feel is still more classic pub than glossy bar: easygoing, sociable and a good option when you want a few drinks without committing to a full club night.
The drinks range covers spirits, craft ale and wine, while the entertainment calendar is much livelier than the relaxed setting might suggest. Regular nights include drag cabaret, quizzes, karaoke and weekend warm-ups, with performers including Misty Chance and Portia Parker appearing in the current program.
It is a solid choice for an earlier stop in the evening, especially if you want something less intense than Canal Street’s busier late-night venues but still very much part of the Village scene.
