Club XXL - CLOSED

The bar is still a good place to start the night. The staff is very friendly and the drinks are good. As for the labyrinth on the second floor, it's history. It's been converted into a well lit lounge area with no windows and not at all what it used to be. The bathrooms are upstairs which is the only reason to venture up there anymore.

XXL is a fun bar. It has good music and dancing downstairs, and a cruise area upstairs. The two spaces are joined by an iron spiral staircase. ALWAYS hold onto the railing on the staircase -- I stepped on a piece of ice (I think) and fell partially down the stairs. I had a leg injury, and thankfully it was superficial. And as others say, don't take your wallet, phone, or jewelry upstairs - leave those items with your friends downstairs, or in your hotel. When visiting the bar alone, I've been fine with a little cash in my shoe.

Stiges is not safe at night especially around gay bars. I never thought I would be attacked and robbed on Monday 1st May 2023. Unfortunately for me I was on my own when I was walking back to my hotel a few minutes away when this nightmare happened. I will never come back to Stiges again and it is a shame as I did really liked Stiges up until then. Had to go to the hospital for check up, and and also to the police to report incident of my stolen phone, credit card and avery expensive golden neck chain and cross.

I have most of my partners at XXL, having action in the boxes or at my hotel. It is easy to meet someone, and guys are young and cute especially inAugust. Music is very nice downstairs and you can switch from dancing to action all night long.

Like last year, went almost daily during Bearweek in September. It's packed with all sorts of hot sexy men up- and downstairs. Fun and party as usual.. One can never go unsatisfied. I guess it's so full of guys looking for action. Great place and must visit on bear ally.

Great place but don’t take anything with you. Even if you think you’re protected. I wear bum bag around my neck and had my phone nicked out of it. Luckily a nice local man found it the next morning, with my hotel key card in the case and called to return it.

Went with my partner last night, had my wallet stolen so look out for pickpockets

Only open at weekends and only a few people in. The place looks a bit dirty but staff seemed OK. The spiral staircase to the toilets is a death trap. I fell head first from the top! A combination of its being slippery and having to walk too close to the narrow steps.

Very good place, guys was great and lovely.

Bad experience, filthy , not clean, and not safe few friends of mine lost their mobile phones and cash.

Be careful expect to get pickpocketed upstairs in the cruising area Don't take cash with you xx someone stolen my money. I will not go there again xx It is very poor, I DON'T RECOMMEND.

The cruising area is busy and the guys are horny but expect to get pickpocketed. Therefore go upstairs to the cruising area with no cash and no phone in your pockets and you’ll be fine.
