Gay sex has been legal since 2007, same-sex marriage since 2023, and the country has a long tradition of recognizing a third gender, making it one of Asia's most progressive destinations for queer travelers. Led by gay historian Professor Andrew Lear, the small-group tour (maximum 18 people) moves from the ancient temples of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur to the jungles of Bardiya National Park, one of Asia's best spots for Bengal tiger sightings, with rhinos and elephants along the way.
