If you’re on a budget, the New Generation Urban Brera offers good-value rooms in Milan’s historic city centre, close to the Turati metro , which is only two stations from the famous Duomo (or you can walk for about 20 minutes). The hostel offers rooms and dorms with en suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi. You can cook in the large, well-equipped kitchen and/or store your food there. The beds are comfy, though the windows are a bit small. Gay scene-wise, the popular Glitter @ Provocateur dance party is a short walk from the hostel.
