Munich Gay Cruise Clubs

Opened in 1967, Ochsengarten (or simply "Ox") is the 'daddy' of cruise bars. It was Munich's first gay venue for fans of jeans, leather, rubber and uniform.

The walls feature posters from various similar bars, and you can pick up info on events and venues in the same genre all over Europe. There's a small back room for guys who want some action.

Ox is dark, cruisy and packed on the weekend. Regular themed nights.

CAMP is a men-only gay cruising bar in Munich's Glockenbachviertel, just south of Müllerstraße and a short walk from Sendlinger Tor. Formerly known as Fred's Pub, the venue has roots in Munich's gay scene dating back to the 1970s, when it became known for screening gay porn.

Operating as CAMP since 2005, the intimate bar features a large darkroom and focuses on cruising rather than dancing or conventional nightlife. It's open seven days a week, with different themed nights, including Sleazy Wednesday and Just XXX on Thursdays.

Underground is a men-only gay fetish and cruising club run by Munich's MLC (Münchner Löwen Club), the city's established leather and fetish association. Located in the Obersendling district, away from the main gay nightlife area, the 400 m² clubhouse is spread over two floors, with a bar, lockers, showers and dedicated cruising and play areas.

The club hosts regular fetish-themed parties on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, including leather, rubber, sportswear and naked nights. Admission is €10 for registered MLC members and €17 for non-members, with advance registration required through the MLC website.
