The world’s largest Observation Wheel and one of Asia’s biggest tourist attractions. At 165 metres high, Singapore Flyer is some 30 metres taller than the London Eye wheel.

Conceived and designed by Dr. Kisho Kurokawa and DP Architects, Singapore, this landmark held its groundbreaking ceremony in September 2005 and was launched in 2008.

Each capsule has a 28-person capacity, and each revolution takes approximately 30 minutes with visitors enjoying a panorama that captures Marina Bay’s skyline with a glimpse of neighbouring Malaysia and Indonesia.

Located a 5-minute walk away from MRT - Promenade Station (Circle Line, CC4). Take Exit A and follow the blue pedestrian signs to Singapore Flyer.

Sentosa 圣陶沙 is a popular island resort in Singapore, with a 2-metre coastline. Whilst not the most beautiful in Asia (by quite a long way), it provides the opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The island is home to several tourist attractions including Universal Studios Singapore. Tanjong Beach, a more secluded part of Sentosa, attracts many gay sunbathers, particularly on Sunday afternoons

Shopping, shopping, shopping! Orchard Road is filled with restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops and hotels. But the main attractions are the huge shopping malls.

Of particular note are the upmarket Tanglin Mall (Tanglin/Grange), the huge Orchard Central, 313 @ Somerset and the ION Orchard.

Universal Studios Singapore markets itself as a 'one of a kind theme park in Asia'. And this is very true. It is the centerpiece of the transformation of Sentosa Island into a world-class resort.

Opened in 2011, the 49-acre park has about a dozen attractions , 18 of which are original or specially adapted. Each theme zone is based on a blockbuster movie or a TV show with related attractions, characters, dining and shopping areas.

The world's tallest pair of roller-coasters are based on Battlestar Galactica. There is live music show 'Monster Rock' featuring the infamous Universal Monsters, The Transformers 3D Thrill Ride, etc. - more than enough for any screaming queen.

Take the North East MRT to HarbourFront Station, then transfer to the Sentosa Express or RWS 8 Bus.

This historical riverside quay has been transformed into a buzzing nightlife area with a huge choice of eateries, with tons of restaurants and 20+ (straight) bars, nightclubs, parties and activities.

Some clubs have 24-hour licenses, and few close before 3am. Expect Friday nights to be very busy.

Clarke Quay is home to The Central - a Japanese-themed, 5-storey shopping mall located directly above the Clarke Quay MRT Station.

Opened in 2010, The Helix Bridge is the world’s first curved bridge, linking Marina Bay to Marina Centre.

This 280-metre pedestrian linkway (the longest in Singapore) features the world’s first ‘double helix’ structure. Inspired by the yin/yang concept in Asian culture, the architecturally unique bridge is said to bring wealth, happiness and prosperity to Marina Bay.

The bridge is an engineering masterpiece, assembled with great precision. The curved design is created by two opposing spiral steel members, held together by a series of connecting struts, symbolising "life and continuity","renewal", "everlasting abundance","growth", and resembles the structure of DNA.
