Edelheiss

Edelheiss is a small, traditional gay bar in Munich's Glockenbachviertel, particularly popular with bears and mature men. The rustic, Bavarian-style interior has just a handful of tables and bar stools, so it can get crowded, especially in the evenings.

Expect a predominantly local crowd, German Schlager music, reasonably priced beers and a relaxed, no-frills atmosphere. Thursdays feature a Beard Evening, with two-for-one beers for bearded men. It's a good choice for a drink and a chat rather than a big night of dancing.
